I am a married mother of three with my eldest son in the navy. We are really excited about grad coming up. He his happy his A school is across from RTC so he wont have to go far for now. Looking forward to making new friends with other Navy parents

PIR

Just to let everyone know we had a awesome time with my son here over the weekend of 9-11. PIR was amazing and emotional. I just want to let any future PIR moms and families that are traveling in this area I reccommend you NOT stay at the Econo Lodge in Gurnee on Grand Ave. It is the nastiest hotel that I have ever been in and being ex army thats saying alot. The staff are rude and they tell you one thing and do another. They almost ruined the whole trip for me except that I got to see my son.

Hi, welcome to AECF group and congratulations to your new sailor! I know you were proud seeing him in that uniform! Is your son going to be an ET or FC when he completes school? Both are great rates. Our son recently graduated from C school, he is an FC and he reported to his first ship in Hawaii! Please let us know what questions you may have.
