Hi gals, I know, I know... Last night I was under a lot of stress... Finally, my son took a later flight and was able to get to GL on time. I surelly spent a great time with him this holidays and wouldn't miss it for anything in the future.

New Navy Mom

Hi! Since I'm a new navy mom, just wanted some information on the whole boot camp/ graduation processes. I have many questions and will like to know where can i get some answers. My son is leaving for boot camp on August 17. i will really appreciate some light on these matters!!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

My daughter, Ashley (20), has been in the Navy for 2 years and is an IT3 & my future son-in-law Tim has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz. He is signed as a CTT-SN. He graduates August 20th, then on to C school. We miss him dearly, but are proud of his choosing to serve. What is your son going to be doing in the Navy? You should join bootcamp Moms and Ask A Recruiter groups. Bootcamp Moms are new and going through the same things. Recruiters will be able to answer most of all your questions you may have. Also the main page for blogs and look under blogs for postins that you may find interesting and helpful. ttyl
