FINISHED DEPLOYMENT!

well i havent been on here in awhile, but our first deployment that was 9 months long ended on may 3rd so ive had my husband home for about a month now, def some readjusting happening (still) but i couldnt be happier to have him home, the beggining drug by soo slow but towards middle i was always so busy and it flew by so my advice to you others that have to go through your first and long deployment its def gonna feel like its never going to end in the begging but it will, i promise and it is…See More

well my hubby is on the USS Stennis and just left for deployment monday, and it was my last time seeing him for 8 months...does anyone have any ideas on what i should do to make time go faster? does it get easier?:(See More

any other wives who live in bremerton and hubby assigned to Stennis?

My husband just graduated his A school in Virginia on July 20th and he was home until august 3rd and went to washington and he is on the stennis and they are deploying soon, but im wondering if i could find other wives to talk to while they are out on deployment to keep in touch with so we all know whats going on (: and id love to meet people before moving up there in april...im from texas so its going to be very new to me!!hahaSee More

im a new navy wife. we recently got married on august 1st while he was on leave. we dated for 3 years we were high school sweethearts hes stationed in washington right now and im here in texas waiting to move up there but im excited for this new life, but also very curious and nervous about it!!

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
i have learned to take every moment you get to spend together to heart because i havent got to spend much time with him since he left for bootcamp:(
