Son or Daughter in Ship 14 Div 393?
I heard from my son yesterday 28 Oct and he sounded very bummed out. He thinks boot camp "blows" because "our division (394?) is filled with a bunch of can't hack it rejects who don't give a f***k!...

My son is ship 14 Div 394. He mentions Div 395 in his letters a lot because they are his "brother division" apparently 394 is AFT and 395 is forward in thier 60 guy compartment (?). His first lette...

Thanks for the reply and the description of Spring Hill Suites being new and the the accessiblity - like you said some hotels are more accessible than others.

- thanks for the pictures, actually that is Kelly White who was the "AROP" (?sp) she was the one in charge and took orders from the Petty Officers and then told them to the division. The girls were close friends during bootcamp, and said that everyone always got them confused. Thanks again for sharing and take care. (Your som is very handsome).

- So nice to hear from you!! I live off E290th close to Coulby Park. We are not having an events during that time, but our family would surely love to meet yours! It would be very nice of your son to share his experiences - and yours, too! My husband graduated from Wickliffe in 1976 - perhaps you will know a lot of the same people. He seems to know everyone from around here :) I have no idea if we are allowed to post our personal email addresses on this site. If so, I'll send you mine and we can plan as it get closer to your trip. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

- Thanks for all the news. I think there are several strings for our group with Dawni has consolidated in one that is in the PIR Nov 13 group.
I know my daughter was above the physical tests before boot camp but who knows where that sets her in the continuum.
How sweet that he wants his dog to go to the graduation. What I've been doing with my letters is printing miscellaneous photos on one side of a sheet of paper (nine up on a sheet) and writing the letter on the back. Wierd mix of things that she might enjoy...old Halloween costumes, christmas pics when the girls were young, lots of the dog!
I've only received one letter from H (all of 10 lines) but a very much enjoyed 10 lines.
I'll write more when I'm not dashing off to an appointment for work.

- DeeDee, your son is in my daughter's division, I think? Which means it's a co-ed one. I think in reading your message that I'm glad I didn't hear during the really frustrating time. I'm just glad she seems happy. And, yes, I'm reading those ten lines over and over!
