My last son just left for the Nuke Program. he has been at boot camp for four weeks. I am looking forward to seeing him at his graduation on May 7th. I still have one daughter left in the house, so I am not yet able to go completely insane, but I feel like I am staring it down some days

Great Lakes Division 177

hello everyone. Boy am I glad I stumbled onto this website!!! My son is in Division 177, due to Graduate May 1st. I am so thrilled to be able to see him again after eight weeks. I had the same reaction to the "kid in a box" that I am reading about. I was sure I had lost my mind when I had all those crazy emotions over a box of dirty clothes. But I can see now that if I am crazy, I am in plenty of good company.

I missed the grad too living in WA state, it seems to be always on the edge of their seat if they will pass everything its hard to book a flight like that!

Hi Genia, I had to chuckle at your son's shirt in your profile picture! My son loves t-shirts with funny sayings like that. My favorite one of his says "Take me home and feed me". :-) So fun!! When I talked with him, he still sounds like he has that sense of humor...thank GOD!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
