Profile Information

About me:
My son asked me to call the local NAVY recruiter the day after his 18th birthday. That was a tough call to place, but he had a goal and his dad and i encouraged snd supported him all the way. After being on the delayed entry program for 8 months while he finished his highschool education,he just left for Basic Training on 4/20 . He will be going into aviation avionix ( A new term for me!) after basic training.
I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
theyll always be our babies but the time comes when they should, and need to, reach for the sky and challnge themselves. theyll make us proud, no doubt
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
