Yes my son is so grateful to have boot camp behind him. Although he doesn't officially start sub school until the end of the month, so he is a little bored right now. But lovin life... because he is finished with boot camp. :0)

paula, I didn't really get to meet anyone at the Ramada. It was like 7:45 before we got to the room, dropped our bags & walked down to the Meet N Greet, but we didn't stay long so we could get ready for the next morning.

Hello, my son just flew to Groton on Saturday from Boot Camp. He is settling in and preparing for Submarine School to begin. He says the accomidations are great and is glad to be out of boot camp. It is nice that he has a phone again.

I got a call from Jordan this morning. He is at O'Hare airport waiting for the flight to Pensacola. He arrives in Florida around 4:30 today. He is glad to be out of boot camp and looking forward to the next stage of his training.

- My son's gf got a call too. Lasted all of five minutes. I wish I had gotten it. But I expected that I wouldn't be the first he would call. Found out he is a Grad N Go so we will only see him the day of graduation. Kind of disappointing but we'll make the best of it.
