I have had some hard times but I just keep thinking what a great career move he has made and how proud I am of him. Believe me I miss him terribly but he will be stationed in Pensacola for school and I will be able to at least talk to him now!

Pat said… - Welcome aboard! Look into the DEPPER's and Boot Camp 'groups' on this website. You will find a lot of information and answers to your questions!
As far as what to take to boot camp...basically nothing. You will get a box of his personal belongings within the first three weeks. All of the 'extras' that my son took with him came back in that box.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
