Oh, if he missing making those snow angels, we always make them, too... in the sand at the beach! How long will he be at A-school? But if it is some place close by he'll do better getting his car here. My son told me everyone in VA tries to screw the sailors over when it comes to anything ....Which is so sad to me!!

It was really good to hear from you. Sorry I didnt get to meet you in person at PIR, but it was a great experience for us. I hope it was for you, too. Doug stayed in GL for A school. His rate is AECF (advanced electronics). He finished some of the pre-A school classes, but is on hold now. According to what I've read and what he's told me, the holds are pretty long, but he's just dealing with it. He's having fun on his off-time going to the city. And he's looking forward to the cold weather. He was born in FL so, except for a few vacations, never had to deal with cold and snow. Haha.. How does Jake like Pensacola? Are they on hold there? Please keep in touch with me.

Thanks so much for your well wishes on a safe trip. I truly feel like a kid going to a big candy store...out of control.
I hope your son schools up soon, it took my son 3 1/2 months before he schooled up...so he did a lot of volunteer work... this helped to get him off of base and give him something to do....which got him a great letter in his "jacket". Did you get your answer to the AA next to your son's name? and what job is your son going for...My Jake is also an Airmen. He is an AM and works on the frames of the C-2, plus washes and fuels the planes.
Do you know if your son has "Phased" up any? Well you have a great day and talk to you soon.

Glad all is good with your family! We are leaving on the 18th to VA to visit our sailor and see the base. I can't wait. I never do anything so just to get away for a few days is going to be wonderful!!! Wish your son luck from me and keep in touch!!
