Congratulations on all of the sailors with upcoming PIR! The Residence Inn we stayed at was
Waukegan/Gurnee, very close to the base. Best of luck to them all, and enjoy every minute of your time together! My son is currently serving in Afghanistan...

We have several family members who want to attend. Is is worth it for them to come anyway to hangout for the weekend with us, or would you say no? They are all so proud. Also, do the sailors have liberty all day Sunday, too? Thanks so much for your help!!!

- Joanne, thanks so much for the information on Residence Inn. I am so glad we changed our reservation!! Alan never did use the pool but, he was allowed to spend the weekend with us. It was nice to have the suite. It afforded us extra space. We gave him a watch and he kept it and brought it back with him. Also, we took the metra into Chicago and ate at Ditka's. We had such a great time. It was wonderful. Thanks for all your tips and info. I really appreciate it!!!! :)

I sure hope that I get to see Lee for the weekend as i thought about cooking his favorite meal at the room.
