- My son left today for boot camp today...literally just got my 1 minute phone call from him. This is my first close, personal experience with any military service. This is going to be a long 8 weeks. I am very proud of & happy for my son, but need some support. Heard about your group from another mom at MEPS today. She had wonderful things to say about you all.

I'm having problems posting on the Molly's Adopt a Sailor page. Here's a sample of some pillowcases. No color restrictions. I use cotton. Personally prefer to sew and then wash--but it's just your choice. The labels are put on the boxes once addressed and customs forms are ready. We're also going to decorate the inside of the boxes with holiday themes.

Hey there Joanne ! It is nice to have somebody out there who understands having someone in the military . I cried all the way home back in the car to Pa. after leaving . I too had that same feeling the rest of the following week. I agree that the communication is sooooo much better and nice to have now --- I do however still have my days haha ! I am also trying to not be a bother and bug him with "mom" questions but --- hahaha that too is tough. It is nice that our boy's can hang out together and it is great they are in the same class ! A answer to prayer for sure ! Please stay in touch --- we can support each other ! If you need anything let me know !
