When my son left I kept saying to myself "He's going to summer camp" Ha! I just prayed every day and night for him to get through and to get me through. The Lord answered my prayers and he did fine. Good luck.

My son is stationed in Bremerton. He finally got his family settled in Jackson Park and he flew to San Diego today to be put on the ship. He is really nervous for this is his first ship. He just got out of A School. His poor wife is up there alone...

My son is flying to San Diego today to be put on the ship for the first time. I know he is nervous. I miss him so much. He was only home for a week after A school. My daughter-in-law is in Wasington, too. Just got moved in, then he had to leave.

Hi judyann,

My son is also on the Stennis and has been since Feb. he also moved his new wife and himself to Silverdale, Wa. and then had to leave on the Stennis's 6 month deployment. My son is a MMFR. Don't worry they will take good care of him. My son had to fly to Japan to pick up the Stennis because it was into the 6 month deployment and he was so nervous but I met some mom's on here and they had their sons look for him and help him out and they did. This site is so wonderful and full of information.
