For families that have loved ones graduating on 10-02-09. September is going to be a long month so let's all stick together and hopefully it will make the time go by faster.
I'm in CT just booked room thursday night at crossland economy studios chicago-waukegan $71.24 for 1 room, 3 people, 2 queen size beds with kitchenette.

My son left on Aug 4. This is also the Ship and Div.I would like to talk to other Moms. I do know that he is suppose to graduate on Oct.2

OMG my son left Aug 5 too. same Div/Ship as your daughter. I was also looking to chat with someone from this div/ship as well.
I have started to receive letters. Her first one was dated August 16th saying it was the first time they had been able to write. I am now receiving them on a regular basis. I got one phone call and it was for about 2 minutes.

My daughter Emily left for bootcamp yesterday and I miss her so much. I am proud of her decision and afraid at the same time.

- Good morning to you! So I see you are from Groton.. I live in WL.. I have a group of Mom's that we get together so kep in touch. Did you join our CT group.. We have a super nice friend that lives out that way.. Check it out..
Tell me more about your daughter.. She is pretty. We are here for you.. It seemed like yesterday that I went through all that.. I left my job and everything went wrong.. Life was never the same.. I wish we had had this site at the time.. Other Mom's have opened their hearts to me and others.. what is her goal?

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
