The box day stinks I have 2 in the Navy and it wasnt eaiser the second time I took my sons sweatshirt he had on and wore it for 2 days lol My husband was like its 80 outside you need to take that off.. It does get eaiser my prayers are with you
I went out yesterday and bought blue candles I lite it last night on my entertainment center and shut off all the lights what a sence of peace. My son left 2 weeks ago for BC and my oldest is overseas and Just lighting that candle just gave me son...

Need advice from Moms with married children
I have a son overseas who is married and trust me I love his wife and my new beautiful grandson. The problem is he never calls us only her. I was so sad at first not to hear from him but now Im getting angry. Im very proud of my son and maybe it is a jealous thing to think but do they remember who raised them and cheered them on when they were in boot camp and growing up. Im just so sad.....

- yes!! got a letter Tuesday. He said they have the best DIV too! They are doing great, I feel so much bettr!

- i have to say, i'm super jealous you got a letter too!!! makes me want to cry really because i'm wondering whats holding him up :-( I'm so glad they feel like family and are doing well! lets hope they get a phone call!! have you started making travel arrangements for graduation?

- That's so great!!! I love that we have this group, so that what our sailor doesn't tell us we can get from someone else. I can't wait for a letter, I'm praying for tomorrow because I'm going out of town tomorrow night. I'm glad to hear they are in a great division! Hopefully they will be able to call soon since they have been good little recruits, lol. Thanks for sharing your letter! I'll let you know as soon as I get one!

- Yes, we a have a 16 month old girl, Sophia. She does miss him very much. But my husband made a vido for her before he left and we watch it every day. She really likes it. What is your son's last name? I'm going to ask Derek if he knows him. My husband's is Brown. Let me know if you get anything in the mail. I run to the mailbox every day!! lol.

It was just the form letter with his address and a few lines written at the bottom. havent heard anything since.We are from Ohio and Colin is my youngest. I have 2 adult children and 1 step son who lives in Buffalo N.Y. He has a son who will be 3 on Sept. 1st.Maybe the boys know each other. I'm hoping that Colin will make a few friends although I know that they dont have time to be social.I'm hoping that the night before PIR we can get a group together and have dinner or drinks. I think that by then we will be like sisters.

We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing.
