I can't believe

It is crazy how the days go by. We are going in 4 months in the navy. I say we because it is time away from my son. At times it get easy and others I still think what did we do. I just want him back. I know better than that. I this a great, great opportunity. And would not take it back. Still though I wish i could be with him. Any ways I still cant believe in a way time is moving fast.

I sit in wonder

you know i often sit in wonder. thinking about my son. wondering what he is doing? What he is thinking? You know when everything first came about."Navy" I did not want him to go. I would cry and tell don't go. But then saw that i was doing to him the same thing my dad was doing to me. always wanting his baby right next to him. I felt in the long run i would cripple him instead of help him. then, we would talk and eventually i came around. Then before you know it he is signed up and i am going. a… Continue

To Our Special N4MS Moms!

Mother’s Day Blessing
Just as God gives to each rose
A gentle touch of dew
And gives unto each evening sky
The lovely sunset’s hue

So may he give to you
From his enduring love
Great happiness and hearts’ content
And blessings from above.

Wishing you a very Happy Mother's Day from Brenda S., aka, Sailor Moon

At the same time it will aslo go soooo slow because I want to see him so much. Here his voice, see his face, give a hug and alot of kisses.

Hi Lisa. You are welcome. I think that is a great idea regarding the clippings. I did it and my son told me they passed them around, and to keep them coming (smile). Your Sailor could become popular. Go to photobucket.com, look under navy. Most of these web pages like that have them if you type in Navy. TTYL.

Lisa, I agree with you. I wrote my son 2xs a day. He said they don't have enough room in their racks. Enclose some rubberbands to hold them together, just a suggestion. I also enclosed comic clippings, local sports articles, current good news events, horroscopes, so he could pass and share. He became quite popular. He told me to keep them coming. TTYL

Hi Lisa, I know how hard it is to let go. I also felt as you feel, and sometimes I ask myself why. I was proud to see him at PIR. All the tears, worry, sleepness nights were are worth it. Wait until you see your New Sailor. You will be very proud of how much of a man/Sailor he has become. It will make you chest swell with absolute pride and joy. Good luck to your son and your family as you all take this journey together. Hang in there and pray the Lord watches over him. Tell your son thank you for serving our country.
