- Hi, Mariam! You are welcome here and will find it a great site. Many of our answers are sailor specific but they do apply to any mom with a child in the military. You have been invited to join Molly's Adopt a Sailor group. I do encourage you to do so for a couple reasons. One it is a great group and very supportive. The members are so full of enthusiasm. Second, it is involved in worth projects, one that will keep you busy and make you feel good. Please do join us.

My brother that retired after 23 years in the Army is now working as a civilian in basically the same job he retired from - does all but the jumping from aircraft now. He is going back to Afghanistan for six months. Tell us more about yourself and your soldier. We are here for you!

- Hi Mariam.....lots of moms here to embrace your friendship, and offer support. I live up in Wisconsin, but lived in an Army town in Arizona (Ft. Huachuca) for 23yrs. Is your soldier deployed now? If so, I'll be sure to add him/her to my prayer list for you.
