Awesome! Maybe we will come! Sounds like a lot of fun :)
I think Bert said he has duty on Thanksgiving :(... but we invited him over the next day to eat some turkey and hang out. So he will at least be well fed!! I have met a couple of girls here who have little girls too, so that is really nice. I'll talk to Derek and see what our plans are for New Year (I think him and Bert have talked about it) and let you know. Talk to you soon! Hope you are well!!

Just wanted to drop by to say hello! Haven't talked to you in a while. We'll be in GA over New Years and are planning to meet up with Bert at some point. Maybe we'll see you guys too!

Hey, I didn't get a chance to meet Liz, but Bert came over for dinner last night and I can tell by the way he talks about her that she is really special to him. He seemed really happy to have seen her this weekend :)

MaryJ, I heard from my Jake that Bert passed to Phase II. I am so glad! Jake said that the Enterprise is known for being the toughest on grading the test. Sorry it was difficult for him, but glad he passed. Just to let you know, we still have a 295/294 list and are still chatting on the PIR 8/28 list - if you want to join us - Brenda has been asking about you.

Hey Mary, wanted to welcome you to AECF group and then I seen you live in Swannee! We have a nice size group for the GA families here. Just go to groups and enter in GA Navy families and there are close to 200 members just waiting to meet you! We do local gatherings every month or so - perhaps we will meet you soon! Is your son at A school? Will he be an ET or FC when he graduates? Our son is an FC and recently graduated from C school - he's now on his first ship...in Hawaii! Let me know if you have questions!

Mary J, I know its hard, my son leaves on Monday for Norfolk, I've learned from these last few months in GL, that we (moms) are not in any control here! The Navy has their own timing, and its usually very different from our own. I remember my sons recruiter telling him not to get discouraged during BC or A School, that wasn't the "real Navy". I many times had to remember myself that comment and had to remind my son of it, more so during A School! Keep praying for them, and know that a little adversity makes them stronger men. God Bless your son and your family.
