I'd like to know that myself. I haven't been able to get on the list.
There is a long line of cars waiting to get throught the gate, but they keep traffic moving smoothly and rapidly.

- About me:
- My son enlisted in the Navy last winter, and I'm so proud of him I can hardly stand it. I have a daughter in college and three gorgeous grandchildren. I'm retired and spend a lot of time with the kids, trying new recipes and putering in my garden. This is all still new to me, and I'm eager to chat with other Navy moms.

- Melissa, thanks for the reply and support. It sounds as if you have come to grips, which is wonderful, but I guess after a while, it does get easier and you come to realize it is what it is. Good luck to your son on his deployment. But 8 months, really and you can't talk to him the entire time? Ughh.. Take care Melissa
