Finally got my "I'm a Sailor" call from Brandt (Div 319). He is so glad it is over and was very excited because he gets to drink a red bull and eat candy! Congrats to all the new Sailors! Can't wait to see them tomorrow!
The purpose of this group is to allow family of new sailors assigned to school at Training Support Center Great Lakes a chance to voice questions to a Student Division Commander
I wanted to start a group for everyone to

- Hey, Missy! It was great to meet you also. How is Brandt doing? Nick started school this week. He seems to be adjusting well with being out of boot camp. LOL. I love being able to talk and txt with daily now. Hope to talk to you soon!

- Marc is going to Great Lakes for A school. And no I haven't heard anything from Marc since Saturday except his letter on Wednesday. YES we are almost there. I am so excited I was worthless today at work.
I started vacation today so I can't wait. Yes my understanding is BS are this coming Tuesday since Monday was a holiday.
So keep your phone close by on Wednesday we will be getting our "I'm a Sailor" phone call.
And yes I would take the no news is good news approach too. I am pulling for him.
Can't wait to get to meet you in person!!!

- Yes I got a call and we talked for about 30 minutes also. He sounded so good. And what is funny I asked Marc if he knew Brandt, and he said yes mom, his mom asked him the same thing. He said he liked Brandt and he was funny. I can't wait to meet up!!!
I told Marc we were going to try to meet up with you on Saturday sometime so we can meet and the boys can introduce us LOL

- I am doing good, yes I am getting excited for graduation also. This week has been a tough week, had the missing Marc blues. I can't wait to meet all the great people I have met on here. What a lifeline this site has been. I am so looking forward to another phone call. And can't wait for that Battlestations phone call. WE are seeing light at the end of the tunnel!! I am so proud of these kids!!

- I know the feeling about the phone I am the same way, I was hoping also. But as they say on the phone call part I guess no news is good news. Unfortunately it sucks though, wondering and worrying about them.
