Good morning everyone - my son arrived at Lackland yesterday. I heard from him at the airport and not since. We are from San Antonio, so it will be good to have him close by. Just waiting for the next phone call.
Going through A School at San Antonio?
Has anyone heard when they will be doing Battlestations? It is making me nervous not knowing.

Hey what happened to our group - I use to see ship 14 div 310 over and over and now they seemed to have dropped off. Are either of you going to try and go to Flannigans the night before. I haven't quite decided. I received a letter from my son yes...
Good to hear - my son Chris is on this ship and division - I got a call yesterday and was exstatic. I was so wanting to hear from him. He is happy and feels like this was a good decision for him. I can't waite to see him in Sept.
Thanks for the suggestion to call his recruiter - I am just concerned that once they hear he hasn't written or I haven't received anything that it will cause a problem for him at BC. I work for the Army and have heard from Army soldiers that calli...

- I just received my first letter today. He talked about previous letters but I never got them. I know just how you feel, it seemed everyone had received letters or phone calls. I think you will get one any day. Probably a few at one time. My son said he is feeling much better than he was in the previous letters so maybe it is a good thing I didn't get the ones where he was so homesick. Hang in there.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
