Thanks for the comment. I took Wesley to our family doctor for a 'second opinion' today. When he went to the physical yesterday they said they needed one, they said there was nothing wrong with him, they just needed a second opinion. Have you every heard of that happening?

Hi Nancy and thank you for the comment about my videos. I can ALMOST waych them without crying now as i have watched them at least a zillion times each. My daughter in in GL getting ready to head to FL for A school... my son is getting ready to go to GL for BC. I'm hoping i will be able to handle my second child's departure easier than i did the first but i'm not counting on it. He's my "baby".

Hi Nancy, How exciting to have all those wonderful sailors in your family. It is nice you live close to Goose Creek. We were no able to go to patricks graduation in Oct. From Power School. It was too expensive. to fly. I am glad Casey is doing so well. The weather stays pretty nice there doesn't it? I do hope to get to NY in the spring. Take care, Laura

"THE BALL"

Well, I am back at work today after the Navy Ball and I am so-o-o tired. Not necessarily from the "Ball", but from the whole weekend. The "Ball" was really nice. The food was good, and the company was excellant...yes, Casey really redeemed himself. The guest of honor was MGEN Jim Livinigston USMC (Ret.) His speech was really entertaining. There were a lot more young sailors there than I had expected. So many different gowns to look at. Overall, it was quite an experience. Charleston, SC is a rea… Continue

WELL THEY DID IT!!!!

Casey and Kyle have graduated boot camp. Kyle stayed at Great Lakes and is attending (Corpsman A School). Casey has landed in Charleston and is attending (Nuke A School) at Goose Creek. I am so proud of my 2 sailors, and also their older brother, (Ross the Coastie). It is now time to buckle down and get to studying. Both of their schools will be challenging and I am hoping they do well.

HOLDING PATTERN

Someone mentioned in a comment about feeling like we're in a holding pattern, I feel the same way. It kinda reminds me of building a house, if any of you have been through that. In the begining you can see the progress and know all thats going on, then when they start working on the inside, you don't really see the progress unless you go inside. Well, we can't go inside:-( so we're all out here just hoping and praying that everything is going they way it should. Especially when we don't get as m… Continue
