Profile Information

About me:
I am an Enlisted Boatswainsmate Second Class in the Navy. I have served for 8 years now and have enjoyed my time, overall. I joined this site to help support Navy mothers and assist with any insight or information needed.

I currently work at Bangor Sub Base in Bremerton, WA as a mooring officer but will be transfering to San Diego this November. I have done 5 deployments over my 8 yrs. 3 onboard the USS John C Stennis, 1 with USS Ford and a tour in Iraq back in 2003. I will be getting out of the Navy in February of 2011 unfortunately due to a recent medical discovery and diagnoses. But I do plan to keep as involved as i can with the Navy.
I hope I can be of as much help as possible here on this site.
I am here to support or represent my:

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Be honest, open and there. thats the most important thing you can do for your loved ones who are serving. Sometimes all they need is that letter, email or phone call to put a smile on a rough day.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
