- It is very humbling to see your child leave a child and know that he won't be coming back the same person.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

JessicaB-Sailor Mom's suggestions are good, BunkerQUEENBee has helped me a lot with the navigating and profile settings, etc. There are so many wonder members who are here to support each other through thick and thin. Hope you like it as much as I do. I wish I had known about this website nearly 4 years ago when my son joined. He is now at sea and asked that I not write letters or send care packages because there is not much room for anything else on his sub. Blessings,

My son graduated boot camp Jan 29, 2010 and is now stationed in Sicily Italy as an IT.
If your profile or profile name contains last name (even if it is different from your rct/sailor)your rct/sailors first name or your e -mail address, I recommend that you change it for the safety of your sailor. Remember, this is a public site and anyone can become a member and read comments posted here.
Be wary of who you friend…before you accept a friend go to their page and see how active they are, the comments left, groups they’ve joined. If they have a lot of friends but no groups, no comments, click ignore and DO NOT FRIEND THEM…it is likely they are spammers, e-mail address harvesting.
