She is going to have a blast on the beach! My husband has been out for 17 years now. Was your husband ever stationed in Mare Island or in Yokosuka. We may have crossed paths (?)

Wow - two years already?!!! She already has had much excitement! I love the...get me off of here comment!!!

Your ET daughter is much further ahead than any of the ETs in our group. I believe everyone of them are still in some stage of A school - either ATT or A school itself. They will love picking your head!!! We are an FC family here and probably have another 1 - 1.5 years before we see the first ship. Almost two years of school for FCs.

I just came across this website and am so happy to see others out there!! I am retired from the Navy after 20 years and my husband retired as well after 24 years! So you could say Navy is in our blood! We just recently relocated to Amherst, Ma because of his civilian job...at times it can be very trying to live here, not a lot of support to say the least!
