Profile Information

About me:
I am a proud girlfriend of a sailor who just joined the Navy. I'm currently going to college, and have a part time job making stuff for military and hunting stuff, how ironic haha. I love sports and I am a sport frantic. Pretty much I am just trying to have a successful life attending college and becoming a teacher for the deaf, and of course handle the military relationship as well! =]

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It is such a great honor to be a part of ANY military branch, and just to serve for your country every day. It is a very difficult decision to make, but a very proud one! It just goes to show how great America is, and how strong and courageous our troops are. No matter where they are and how many years they will serve, or already served, they are after all, our proud armed forces, and I will be ready to support them every single day.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Today is Battlestation-21! In just a little over 48 hours we will get to see our sailors!!!!!!!!! Travel safely tomorrow and hope to see you at the meet & greet.

When and where is meet and greet? If I can possibly navigate my way around I would love to attend! I believe we are leaving Midland at 0810, and taking the long way via Houston!! I think we are due into Chicago around 2? (maybe) We are staying at the Waukegan Residence Inn Thursday night, then leaving Friday evening for Charleston. (I hope we actually get to see Ethan...if not, we will have a mini-vacation.... EEEKKK) Is your fiancee also grad and go?

Got another letter. Said they were supposed to get phone calls on the 8th but didn't, now it will be the 17th. Tomorrow is their final inspection and the gas chamber. Saturday is Cap't Cup, Monday final PFA, Tuesday their 3rd test, and Wednsday Battlestations. They have to pass it all now and PIR Firday!!! Look forward to meeting everyone next week.

Hey girl! 11 more days until we see our Sailors!! I can't believe we've made it this far. Today is mine and Josh's 6 month anniversary. I love him so much and can't wait to see him. Hope your weekend is going well!
