I just have to say watching my daughter graduate on Friday was amazing!!! It is something I will never forget. The whole day was exciting from start to finish. The highlight of my day was when they called Liberty... being able to hug my daughter for the first time in 8 weeks was wonderful. And seeing her in her dress whites brought tears to my eyes. If you have a graduation coming up take every second of it in.…

Just a quick question...my daughter will graduate July 13th and I was just wondering what time I need to be at RTC the morning of graduation...I know the doors open at 7 am. Does it get crowded quickly? Do I need to be there that early? Thanks for any advice. I am getting so excited to see my SR.

I got my phone call!!!!! She just called and I got 17 mins with my sweet girl. She is feeling much better. The reason for not getting the call Tues was she had her wisdom teeth out that day. She said she was doing great and she is excited for the next few weeks. Thank God for answering prayers. I feel like I can breathe now.

This has been such a rough week for me. My last letter from my daughter was not a good one, she has been so sick this past week, everything you could catch at boot camp she has caught. It is so hard for me not to be able to help her or see for myself that she is ok. Of course that letter is 6 days old so I am sure she is feeling better now. She was supposed to get a call home on Tues and the call never came, I am sure there was a good reason she didn't get to call but I really needed that…

Hi, did you have a question for me? Please feel free to visit my page any time. The blogs and discussions I have posted in or created are all listed there - so you might find some useful information. Sorry if the music is too old fashioned.
sherri,
I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!! We are a friendly, caring group of moms always willing to listen and support. Please feel free to jump in and join our chats!! We like to discuss everything from our sailors to our jobs, weather, whatever. It's also a great place if you want to yell, scream, vent, cry - - there is no judgment involved!!! Brag about your sailor but also tell us when you are hurting because you miss her so!!! I so understand how you feel about having to let her go. We don't have to like it but it's something we have to do!!! One of my girls did her time and is out now but still working as a civilian contractor with the Navy. Her twin sister leaves for OCS in May or June (we don't have a definate date yet) and then two years of flight school. We will be here to help when you need someone to talk to!! Looking forward to getting to know you and your sailor!! Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!
