Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Thinking about joining
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Be patient and enjoy the letters I receive. Wait for the first phone call. Support my recruit when needed. Watch with pride as they PIR. Watch them continue on their path with pride...
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey Sue. I'm really glad Ali got to come home, but it's very wierd for her. She's so sad because she misses everyone, especially Ryan, her boyfriend. I'm getting really sad about her leaving. Chicago was no big deal . . an hour and half on a plane, but ITALY????? I have no idea when I'll see her next and if she hate it, 2 years is a really long time. I don't know . . . I'm throwing her a party tomorrow, so that should be fun, but I just can't seem to get myself out of this funk. Anyway . . . enough of the Debbie Downer stuff!!! Have fun with Jerm and give him a huge hug for me!!! XOXOXO :D

How great for you to have all three of them home. You will be in seventh heaven. Good luck to Jeremy in Italy, that will be so exciting for him. Scott is recovering from pneumonia right now, poor kid just one thing after another. He did sound better today. He finishes up labs this next week then clinicals. One of his boot camp buddies is going to Portsmouth also so they are happy with that. Take care and enjoy the next 18 days.

I wanted to let you know Scott is going to Va for Surgical Tech C School. He found out last week he was accepted. He called me today and said he will graduate Corps School on May 1st and then report to Portsmith, Va(I think this is where he said) on May 11th and will graduate from C School on November 18th. He is really excited. He needed this good news because Last week my Dad passed away. Scott was able to come home for the funeral and just went back to GL yesterday. Scott feels like he is doing everything for Grandpa. I told him Grandpa is very proud also. Good luck to Jeremy on his new adventure to Italy. that is really exciting.

Hi Sue! I absolutely cannot believe that they are graduating!! Our sailors are full fledged professionals!!!! I am so proud of them! All I know is that Ali is flying home with us on Sunday. What I don't know is how long she'll be home for. I was hoping that she wouldn't take all he liberty all at ome time. I really think that the kids should maybe take a week and 1/2 just in case they really want to or need to come home. I'm not sure when they'll get liberty again. If I find out anything, I'll let you know. In the end, the navy's large and in charge!!!

Hi Sue! Eric is training as an electronic technician. According to him, after A school most ET's go to either San Diego or Virginia (I was hoping for Florida). Congrats to Jeremy!!! I hope and pray all goes well in Italy for him!

Hey Sue! I didn't realize they were going to be 2 hrs. away from each other, but that's still OK. That would be great if you could visit Ali too when you're visiting Jerm . . . she absolutely adores you!!! I'll do the same when I get to Italy. Jeremy left a comment on my facebook . . . I feel like I know him already!!!
