RuthAnn, I believe he will get a chance to come home after A School, my son was going to come home but after talking to the detailer he decided to ship out right after school. As far as Guam, it is not only guard and gate duty, you can be attached...

My son was in Div 351. I didn't realize there were so many MA's from our group. Sounds like there are several from Div 350. I read somewhere that in the next few weeks alot will start to get their orders..... Have you heard that ? Teresa

I got a phone call!!!!

I just got off the phone with my son Josh!!! I am sooooooooooooo excited! He is in Ship 03 Div 351, I would love to hear from any other that has a loved one attached to that Div. He ended up with 30 minutes to talk. It was so hard not to cry, but I managed to stay strong and upbeat :) Only 30 days to go to graduation!!!! Sounds like they are all learning how to do laundry,,clean and make a bed........... Huh why didn't I ever think of teaching him that??? LOL! Teresa,,Josh's mom

My son left on August 17. His PIR is October 9. He is in ship 03 Div 351. Anyone out there with the same? I still have not gotten a phone call. Tomorrow is 3 weeks. I have received letters... It is awful just waiting!!! I guess like someone said "No news is good news" !

Hello, My son is also heaing to Guam but not until January. He is in Mississippi right now for training and then will come home for leave in December and then to Guam. He has been in the Navy for 3 years and stationed in Washington state the entire time.

Once you know your son's division you can look on the RTC website to get his PIR date. I would think he would graduate Fri, Oct 16th.
