About me:
About me? Thought I went to a site for naval mom's and they said i had to join delphiforums for 50 some dollars. I am a disabled, sad but proud mother of my son and best friend who is in boot camp now and should graduate april 23.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
In the NROTC program
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
This is what my son truely wanted to do with his life. He has been the best son a mom could ever dream of. His recruiters were very kind but not too organized, but we understand they had so many kids to handle. On St. Patty's day, my angel, we finally recieved a very long letter and then he called later. What a beautiful day and I thank the lord he is doing great. We are all are so proud, the letter should he could only have 4 people come to his graduation. He put mom, dad, his sister and girlfriend, but what about his youngest brother, only grandparent at85 and his God parents? We understand their are so many graduating but how to pick which ones to go was so hard for him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The lessons learned in the Navy could have been learned anywhere.

If your profile or profile name contains last name (even if it is different from your rct/sailor) or your e -mail address, I recommend that you change it for the safety of your sailor. Remember, this is a public site and anyone can become a member and read comments posted here.

Be wary of who you friend…before you accept a friend go to their page and see how active they are, the comments left, groups they’ve joined. If they have a lot of friends but no groups, no comments, click ignore and DO NOT FRIEND THEM…it is likely they are spammers, e-mail address harvesting.
