I would like to do this too. Twice a month would be great. I do not have a permanent job yet, but I do have a temp job for the next few weeks, so weekends would work best for me.

I'm working from 3 to 7pm thrus. then im off for the next week . when i get back ill post all my hours here. No more vacation for me for awhile after this.

I would be interested in giving this a try . I haven't crocheted in years, but I always liked doing it. I might be able to do twice a month, but I am a single mom and time is always an issue for me. But I really think it would be great fun to hang...
I'm up for twice a month as well. I'm very basic with my crocheting but I can get the job done. I hope they don't critique my work. LOL ;-)
I'm not working until thrus. I work Thurs 3pm until 7pm, Fri and Sat 1030am until 7pm. I hope you stop by I'm looking forward to meeting you.

I don't know that I can handle once a week, but maybe twice a month and could we include knitters with us? It has been a long time for me too, but I am game to learn new stuff.
Been waaaaay oo long for me as well... I had only 3 afgans under my belt, but it has been years! LOL!
I'll keep this in mind, it's just so danged hard to get time that isn't already spoken for, vidgal. It IS a very good idea!

I work at the safeway on 73rd and federal in westminster. for all you moms close enough please bring pics of your sailor and i will hang them in the customer service booth. . i will need there name rank and where they are stationed. im on vacation...

Sponge Dawn aka Sponge Mom said… - I went and deleted the group once I found out they are one of only TWO sub's that carry the seals... Per guidelines on here, no info can be given out regarding any type of seals and or their missions, and transportation.. So I'm waiting on Elle to give me the OK on re-creating the group.

Hey There! My son just got his final orders today.. I'm dawn.. otherwise known as spongee by all my friends here... this is his first assignment straight out of sub school! I am a new sub mom... We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
