It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
The weekend went by so fast that I am still trying to decompress from it all. But it was great to see him. When they came marching into drill hall, I got chills and started crying. And then was able to pick him out in his division, and again, the tears. The ceremony was patriotic, made me very proud to be an American. But selfishly, I was ready for it to end so I could run out there and give him a hug. And what did I do when I first saw him face to face? Yes, I cried !
