Sponge Dawn aka Sponge Mom Trip to Connecticut and Rhode Island to see My Navy Mom and Sailor for the week of the Air Show

We started our journey around 11 pm on Tuesday night so we could get there Wednesday by Noon. I didn't realize that half my trip was going to be in West Virginia. Talk about Mountains.. Oh My... I dont drive to well at night as it is, let alone mountains... I made quite a few pit stops along the way so I could get my vision bearings straight.. Alot of construction.. All of our sailors that cannot be home this Christmas - take a moment and light a blue candle at noon tomorrow for them. Paul's Mom...Terri Blue Candle...

I think this is a great idea. Of course, I had to make it more of my own. I am lighting a blue candle at sundown on Dec. 21st (the first night of Hanukkah) for all the sailors who can 't be at home with their families for the holidays. I will continue to burn a blue candle in our house thru the rest of the month of Dec so that all sailors of all religons are remembered. This will be the first year of a new tradition in our home.
