Navy For Moms

So, I can hardly wait to see my Ryan graduate, only fourteen more days. And not to mention how cool it will to be in Chicago for the fourth of July.

My husband is leaving for Iraq on June 25, 2008. He is in the National Guard reserves. He has been gone for a while now for training. He is coming home this weekend for just two days, then he's gone for 13 months. Don't know how I am going to cope right now. He is my very best friend, we always do everything together. I am trying to get used to doing things by myself, has not been to easy.

So, of course I have so many mixed emotions right now, between the two of them, not to mention the teenage daughter I have at home. She really keeps me going and on my toes. She is a really good girl and I am trying to keep it that way. Of course it's summertime and she sure doesn't want to be home. During the school year, all my time is consumed with her school events and sporting events.

Well, I guess I just need to journal some of my thoughts right now. It helps me deal.

I pray all the time and I really think this may be helping.
