I found when i focused on what a good thing my son is doing and how proud I am, I'm wasn't quite so sad that he's gone. Time is the key. It gets easier.

My only son is still in bootcamp and I am feeling the same way. We just have to be strong, I imagine that other mothers are close to there sons like my son and I.....I have faith that I will start to feel better and so will you.

my son has been gone since June 30th ,i'm sorry you have no one to talk to i was in the same situation everyone just kept kept saying hes 19 now time to go.It hurts but it does get easier although i never thought it would.i found that staying busy is the best thing for me.Please feel free to talk to me if you need to.

My son is in Pensacola and just progressed into phase 3 there. You will be able to communicate SO MUCH MORE now with your son since he's there,and those feelings will start to subside a little for you. I know it sure has made it alot easier for me, he's also my only son. Feel free to email me if you ever need to talk. What is your son's job there? My son is becoming an IT on the Correy Station side.

awe i no how u feel did u get to see him graduate? my son graduate the 13 th and i wont be able to attend his wife toldem she not comin so guess since she the wife moms are out to go ,he is 28 and i miss him soo much and im sadden and loney missin him.

i did not get to se him gaduate he is in Pensacola now we don't even talk on the phone any more we do it thru chatting on the computer wich i don't like much but i guess is better than nothing
