He is gone now, and I am trying to adjust

Well, my husband left this week. I am really trying to adjust to it all. I have been super busy at work, so don't have much time to think about it. It's when I get home from work that has been difficult. I am so lookin forward to Ryan's PIR so that is helping a bit. I don't know when Ryan's battle station is yet. Just kinda waiting to hear from him again. I am so excited to see him. I can hardly believe it is only 5 days away.

I know I will get used to this, it is just going to be very trying at times.

You just hang in there Sara, if you need to talk, there are a bunch of us that are or have been in similar situations. If you need anything on the homefront, shout out here too, the Moms on the board know of so many resources for family members of deployed military persons.

Hang in there Sara! It won't be long til you'll be at Great Lakes and will be seeing Ryan marching in for his PIR! Enjoy this time and savor the memories. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Sara, staying busy is the best thing to do right now. I was a Navy wife for 10 years and it's not an easy job but networking with others will keep you informed and involved in his new career. Once he completes his school and gets assigned to his duty station, there will be a wives club for that command and they are always very outreaching to other members and in the meantime...you have us to help you along!
