Thank you, LynnDear!!! I have sat around and moped all day!! One kid at home a brat (just like his dad - working night shift, so he slept all day then went to work) and the other one, Derek, just texted me!! When I said that I want to hear his voice, he replied "What do you mean"? I mean call me when you can - you blankety blank!! He never did!! I started to go buy myself a birthday cake - but then the way I was feeling, I would probably have eaten the entire thing!! Then, y'all would have had to roll me the 5.5 miles in Tucson!!!
Thanks!! - and thanks to Colleen for telling everyone!! She does not know about the birthday celebrations on here in the past. She even forgot my birthday - I put a note on her page to remind even her!! (neither did my other sister or my brother). My dad sent a card that said something about being out of school - he said he could not find a birthday card. NOT FIND A BIRTHDAY CARD!!!
I tell you - I am adopted!!!

Thanks again, Lynn Dear!!

I read the note to your sister hours ago and wondered why you were upset with your family. Now I do understand. When my son Drew said that he was coming one Sunday, I said "great you can make it home for Mother's Day." He said "oh is it??" That is one time that it was ok to lie. Then Luke called and said Hi, he also didn't know it was mother's day. Do you remember the Happy Birthday LynnDear blog? That was started by Mary and Molly because my son did not call for over a month after PIR. Letters then cold turkey after PIR nothing. It was my NFM friends that got me through my birthday. Not to mention that I am so much older than you. My birth certificate is in roman numerals.

I am so sorry I forgot your birthday! So, instead I'll tell you about when you were born.
I was three and Carol was two and we had to fly home (all by ourselves!!!) to Pt. Arthur to stay with the grandparents so Mom could be in the hospital with you. Mom said that you were her most PAINFUL birth because you came out face first. She was so afraid that it would break your neck. I think you may have been the biggest baby out of the four of us. It was so hot when we lived in McAllen. One time Mom was taking a nap and she awoke to a giant spider beside her on the pillow! I remember how you loved chocolate ice cream and how you'd always get a big chocolate smile all around your mouth. I never could figure out why you were so messy with the ice cream!!! You'd do that up until you were six or seven. Remember when Mr Tully said I was the smart one, carol was the short one and you were the pretty one. You said that you were going to claim both smart AND pretty!! Where does that leave me?
I love my baby sister, she's the best. She's always there for me, and when I am sick she'll stand in a corner and try to not be sick as well. I do appreciate that.
love,
your 'big' sis
