1st Handwritten letter arrives!!!!
Such a happy momma!! I got my 1st handwritten letter today!!! My SR says it is not so bad except some of the shots that they had to get!! My SR was also designated as the Section Leader. My day has been made! It makes me so proud that he is staying strong. Also it mailed on Monday and I got it today. Quick turn around!! Anyone else with good news? Ship 09 Div 284

I am in the same place as you. We recieved 3 letters on the 25th -- then later that evening I even got a phone call from him. He is doing fine and was quite talkative which I equate to happy. We knew he would do well so it was a relief. He is Ship 04 Div 818
