I've just sent a out a mass mail to everyone I know in Corpus, and everyone who I know still has family in Corpus, many are Navy vets and Navy brats. My niece has replied, she's in Robstown, she's going to check around.

Young Marine's obit here

The funeral is in Sinton, TX, about 30 miles out of Corpus Christi on 181. Those with friends and family in Beeville, Mathis, Gregory, Port Aransas, as well as Corpus Christi, are within driving distance to Sinton.

Those in Louisana, East Texas, Mississippi, are on the path of these young Marines to offer meals, or lodging.

Thanks for posting this info. I hope and pray that these wonderful Marines arrive safely in Corpus. We are in Central Texas, so if there's anything we can help with, please let us know. My husband is a former Marine, and I a Marine wife/Navy mom. My prayers go out to the family and loved ones of the fallen Marine. Semper Fi...

My husband is retired Navy, I'm a Army brat and I have 1 son on active duty and one leaving for boot camp on Monday. Anything we can do we will do. We are off of HWY 30. PM me and I will give you my info.

I live in Illinois, they won't be coming my way, but I'd love to help. I'd be willing to call a church to see if they could prepare a meal for them while in route to Texas. If this is something they'd like just give me a call. I'll pm you my number.
