I am glad you friends son was out of harms way. I am devestated as all about this shooting on base. Makes me wonder where elese people like him are. But as far as sending cards..right now I would like to know how this CO could allow an officer with such a disdain, and radical feelings where allowed to stay in and not taking relieved of his duty. He might know personally this guy but when things like this happen, its not like a snowball, it doesnt roll down hill, it goes up hill and the question is why was he not relieved of his duty long before he ever got there. And as all CO, you get reports and or meetings of incoming personel, did he not see the evals of this man before?? I will reserve my Thank you's to those first responders that actually stopped him. And prayer that all the Commands now are put on notice that they have a responsiblity to be pro active instead of in active as they where with this person.
