Couple Donates Reception Costs to Haiti
They hope their efforts will inspire others.

The couple was moved by the powerful images from Haiti
The earthquake in Haiti has impacted the lives of millions.
In response, several people in the United States have donated to the rescue efforts through forms of text messaging and fundraising donations.
When Minnesota couple Leah Bogen and Will Nicholson were planning their upcoming June nuptials, they read real life stories about the unsafe medical conditions and leg amputations that were a result of the natural disaster, according to the Duluth News Tribune.
Bogen decided that instead of serving a fancy catered dinner at their reception, they would donate the $2,500 that would have been spent on food to the people of Haiti.
When she pitched the idea to her husband-to-be, he was impressed by her selfless generosity.
"He sort of gave me this shocked look and said, 'Yes. I love you!'" Bogen told KARE 11.
The couple hopes that their story will help inspire other people to donate some money to a country that could really need the aid.
