I'm glad to see your way ahead of the game. Knowing what to expect once you get there will make all the difference in the world. That's the difference between girls/guys in my opinion. My son could have cared less if I did/didn't find useful information for him. So.....I kept the info to myself and after his PIR he told me "he should have listened to me"!!! LOL  Wonders never cease.

Hi, my son will be going to Great Lakes Jan  30, 2013. His girl friend already completed PIR and is now in Pensacola in A School. My son will be IT so will be going to Pensacola for A and C school and lots more IT courses....We just came back from Pensacola on a visit to her....it was COLD!!! Dang, but she was able to give him lots of coaching about Boot Camp! Now, if he'll listen, that's another story!

My son is leaving here Jan 28th so it looks like they may be there the same time??  Having his going away party on Monday and we are all super excited for him.  He will be going to A school in San Antoneo..
