Text from son in Great Lakes

Ok, here how the text went that I got from my son last night. No kidding this is ALL the information he gave at each time.

Joseph- steak is good.
Me- where are you having steak?
Jospeh-Oh yea!
Me-Where are you eating steak?
Joseph-my room.
Me-you cooked?
Joseph-yep
Me-No way! My boy can cook now?
Joseph-75 steaks I grilled. none came out bad!
Me-you DID NOT grill 75 steaks! You working in mess hall?
Joseph- Nope, me and a room mate took 10 bucks a head for one pound steaks, I came up about 20 bucks.
Me- Alot of work for 20 bucks
Joseph-I didn't do it for the cash...I wanted free steak.
Me- Well glad you go a great steak out of it.
Me- did u enjoy it?
Joseph- yep, it was fun.

SO now if any of you find out your sailors in Great Lakes for ! school had a steak grilled for them Sat. March 21st. Ask if it really was that good. I'd like to know if he really can cook that well.
Then he can show me when he comes home agian.

Best way I have found to learn about what my sons are experiencing is to meet a young lady who is having the same experience and then talk to her Mom! Girls tell more.

Hey Dawn, that was quite a good steak conversation... yeah that's all that matters, the steak ,LOL, our sailors are funny!

Too funny what a guy will do for a great meal!! Whats just as funny is that he can cook. Dawn the next time J's home hope he is fixing steak dinner!!

Sounds like fun. My son sends text that say one thing or word sometimes when I have asked him a bunch of stuff. Like....Roger that.....Yea......No Joy......LOL...... You all know the drill. I guess that's why we love them so much. Glad your boy had free steak. I'm sure to all those sailors they were good. My son is always saying he wished he could have one of my home cooked meals. So they enjoyed what your son cooked for them. Have a great day!
