USS North Dakota

It's a peak at the beginning stages of the USS North Dakota...
This is the first image released by the U.S. Navy of the under construction USS North Dakota.

This is a new mechanism to deliver cruise missiles.

The picture shows the tube being moved into a facility to be fit into the bow of the USS North Dakota submarine.

Senator Byron Dorgan says sub will be equiped with cutting edge technology.

Until last July North Dakota was one of only five states that had not had more than one ship named after it.

The first and only at sea USS North Dakota was decommissioned in 1923
