Hi, Brenda Sue! This is my first time e-mailing. I am glad to know that Texas has a big group of Navy Moms. I live in Amarillo. I think it would be fun to come to a Navy Moms group meeting someday. My son, Aaron, is stationed in Washington right now. his sub is in dry dock right now.
I'll talk more later, just wanted to make contact.

Hey girl! I haven't checked in with you in a while. How are you? How is Derek? We are all good now. Jason had pneumonia on R & R, but is back on the plat and doing well. He e-mailed me a Det picture, but he's not in it. LOL. He says he won't get to be in it until the next deployment.
I hope you all have a wonderful time Waco next weekend-I wish I could come!

Rub it in--spring break!!! We get Good Friday off this year and that's our spring break. We started late because we were still building and finishing 3 schools.

Hey Brenda Sue.... yea Jake has been is Spain for a month. Just actually started work on Friday. Lots of down time for the first month but what better place to be with nothing to do. I have sent 3 packages so far with no problem. Lynne...Cory's mom is also a Spain mom. Our two son's actually just connected on Friday when they found they were in the same section. By the time your son gets there Jake will be well seasoned and we can hook them all up. Lynne can give you more info as Cory has been there over a year. Jake really likes it and the town they are in is awesome. Spanish run the base so they are basically "visitor" there. Love to here from you more. Where is your son now?

Sorry it took me this long to get back to you. Got sick kids and sick me. Coughing up a lung (or so it seems) so I've been avoiding even the phone. I will try to call you next week, when I can take a breath without going into a coughing fit.

I do not mind talking about my son with everyone--just had a bad day and needed to cry help--it helps when people show how much they care, I just dont want to make anyone uncomfortable by my talking about him. We can take 2 cars, I can carry 5 but you know the back may get a little crowded (depending on how big their handbags are, lol) leg room may be problem. Let me know what time everyone is leaving and where we can meet, etc. Enjoy your trip.

Brenda Sue - yes, I am from Beaumont. I am sorry for missing the gathering at the Olive Garden.
