Okay....I just joined! I told them I was in Florida and I'd love to help. There was a post about a sailor in Greece getting no mail, so I emailed that mom and asked for the information. He's about to meet CRAZY!!!! LOL
No, it doesn't work. The first time I put in THE Top Ten Lines from Boot Camp and then I put in Top Ten lines from Boot Camp. The first time it said there was nothing and the second time It came up with a few people that mention it in their writing but not the site itself. Waaaa!
I just read your comments on the November Boot Camp Family page and I couldn't find the Top Ten Lines fro Boot Camp and the other site just has lines on it. Can you help me find them? I need a good laugh right now! My son left for boot camp yesterday.
Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for your words of encouragement on my page! :) I know I can be wordy at times, but if the info and thoughts I share encourages and/or helps someone, then it's more than worth the time I take to think, research, write, edit, erase, edit some more, repost... LOL I'm awful about that! I have some major catching up to do on the Corpsman Moms Group! Just haven't had much time to sit and read this week. Need to get off of here and go finish a project. Are you talking about your comment re: the red shirt day? If so, I thought what you said was just fine. I did read that nasty comment about it being "political." Glad that mom that wrote the post (and others) defended her stand and the other mom actually backed down and apologized.
Yes, I was on facebook and he popped up on there to chat with me. He said graduation was alright and they got a certificate with a pic of the base on it. Last night, he and some buddies went to Applebees and got the free veterans day dinner. He also got a free desssert as one of his buddies snuck off and told them it was also his birthday. He's doing good! : )
Gloria, you have to go to the BLOGS and read "Red Shirt Friday #2." It is so touching and I just know you will love it. The other Red Shirt blog- you posted before so I had already heard that story. Check it out!
