Should be done with that short course by now, yes? I did just hear from him on Chat on FB. He thinks Japan is amazing - he's been there 5 days and found some other shipmates there who will join him on the ship when it comes back into port any day now. and he said it leaves again to go to other ports, so he's psyched about that.
Hello, well I guess our kids are both gonna be in Japan eh? My sailor is now home. I went to his C school graduation in San Diego in July. He stayed with Joyce the 22nd, then went to San Antone. I was in Denver and Wichita -now in San Antonio with Jorge at a Texas Chef's Association convention. Patrick is now picking up a girl (a friend in Denton at college) and going to Kansas City to a concert and still has RAP duty when he comes back. Are you all visiting before he leaves?
Hi Teresa, hope everything is going fine it has been a very hectic summer already! But at least summer school is over! I am looking for a new car and getting ready for the kids to come home...we go up to get them the 18 of July and Derik will start his first tour on August 22 to Japan. He will only be home for 2 weeks they shortened his leave. Keep in touch! We will have to meet for lunch!!
Hi there, as it happens, the Day's End was full over Memorial Day, but I got a room at Navy Lodge and LOVED it... I will be going back over the Fourth of July (no room at Navy Lodge this time!) and it is my birthday so I am splurging on a place on the beach...not too bad. Have fun, I cannot wait to be back there...please check on the Navy Pelican and see if his wing has been reattached!
Hi there...I saw your msg on the Cryptography/Pensa site about the Day's Inn in downtown Pensa...I am driving over on Mem Day wkend, and wondered if you could recomment that hotel...it still has rooms at a decent rate. I will be alone (well, with my sailor daughter most the time) so I guess my main conern is it relatively safe area? Any help would be appreciated. THank you!
