Hi Phyliss it has been a long time I Just wanted to say hi.. And see how eveything is going.. I have had some ups and downs these past couple weeks.. but all and all boot camp has just flown by and Anthony is graduating the first this friday.... I am so exited.. Thats if he passes battlestations on Wensday that I am feeling very positive about right know.. Hi Phyllis; How are you. Sergio is in Pensacola, FL., kind of far for me. He is very busy. He have not started school yet. But taook a three days course AWAT. I guess it is mandatory before he starts school. I sent him his laptop and cell phone. We do not talk everyday but keep in touch. How long is Trent's schooling?
Hi Phyllis. Heather is doing good. She seems to be busy, but we talk everyday. She doesn't want her TV and big stuff. If I understand her correctly, she will move to a different area of the base in the latter phase of her training. It was hard to talk to her when I was in NYC! Her birthday is Friday. It will be strange not being with her. Did you see the info that Laura put on our DIV 241 page about shipping boxes? We had already sent Heather the big stuff, but I know she will be asking for other things. Heather will be in GL until December then hopefully will get to come home. What about Trenton?
Shea ordered one with his pictures and while in the NEX I ordered one, it took about 6 weeks to get it..
How's your son doing? Shea is home until the 29, nice having him here, I'm not lookig forward to next week but atleast he'll be on the mainland ( Bangor Washington) not cloae but not that far either..
We have just started a NFM Group for Louisiana Moms yesterday. Come join us. I am from Lake Charles. My son PIR was 3/14/08. He is at A school in Great Lakes.
Phyllis, when I saw Trenton's name in "the Bulletin" I told my husband "that kid belongs to one of my Navy mom's" lol

Gosh Phyllis! Wasn't it GREAT! I was so proud of Heather. Words just can't describe it! I know how proud you are of Trenton! I was proud of him when we came into the building by the NEX and saw his name on the board as Graduating with HONORS! I am sure some people thought that was my kids name on the board the way I reacted! Yeah for all of 241! They did an awesome job! It was SO nice meeting you and your family! Hi Phyllis, hope you made it home safely! We are leaving GL in about an hour. I made it through dropping Daniel off last night without a breakdown and was actually able to leave him with a smile. Nevermind when I got back to the hotel! Thank you again for all your support. Did you get Trent's pictures in his dress blue uniform? They are very good and the dvd will be here in a few weeks. I can't wait to see it! I am going to put some of the GL pictures on my page when I get time. Have a lovely day!
Hi Phyllis! Congrats to Trenton for graduating! I'm sure you are one of the proudest mom's out there. Were you able to spend the weekend with him or was he a grad-n-go? Where is he off to now? We're still waiting for Morgan's first letter and first phone call. My husband keeps telling me it's because of the holiday. He'll be hurtin for certin if Morgan's letter doesn't come on Monday. My cell is on 24/7 just waiting. I'll get a text at 11 pm our time and get all excited thinking it might be Morgan. Dummy me, I don't remember that it's 1 am his time, he should be asleep, and my ringtone is different for calls! Congrats again. I can't wait till Morgan's PIR 8/15.
Hi Phyllis, Congratulations on Trents commendation! He is very handsome in his uniform. I did not see you but I recognized him and his name when they called it! It was awesome! I might have been at least half as proud as you. I nudged my hubby and told him " Hey! that's Trent! my friend's son!" I was so excited for you! It was so good to see Daniel. He has lost so much weight, but he looks so much better! He has 3 red stripes on his uniform! I am told that is good, it's E3 and he is going to be a Fireman on a sub. I am so happy for both of us. Are you at Navy Lodge? I am in room 135 until Monday if you are. Congrats again!
Hi Phyllis, I did not hear from him and just cancel the ticket 'cause for next week will be 300% more and I did not have a refundable ticket. On the graduation package there is a section that mentions that relatives will not visit the recruit if they do not graduate. Codi called Gayle and told her not to come because he is not graduating and she will not see him. It's been so hard but I can only imagine who Codi and Sergio must be feeling at this moment. After 8 difficult weeks they have to stay longer...
Thanks for your note. I guess our guys are at Battle Stations right now!! I'm keeping my mind off things by packing my suitcase & watching "America's Got Talent."

Hi Phyllis, thank you so much..My heart just aches for him,ya know? I talked to the Navy Liason here..he said IF they let Codi redo the run tomorrow and he passes..then he could do BS on Wednesday with a different DIV and still graduate Thursday..but,he also said it could be next week before they let him..I am going to see him either way..he is still my baby..good luck to your son..

I bet you are so excited about next weekend. I can only imagine how it will feel. I know it will be a 360 degree turn around from the last time I saw Morgan.
I would love to know how the PIR went. When my husband did his PIR, he said it lasted about 15 min, nothing fancy, his parents didn't attend, he said it was no big deal. I don't know if Morgan will feel it's no big deal, but it's a big deal for his mom!
It's been a good feeling today knowing he was able to write.

Phyllis, I just purchased the airline tickets. I am taking my mother with me. I called GL Public Affairs and tried to find out aobut Serg. His battle station was tuesday and he passed. The person I talked to was not able to tell me about the run test but he said he had enough time to make it up and he should be ok by now. I am staying at the NavyLodge. I would like to give you my cell number so yu call me when you get there. We'll be arriving to O'hare at 4pm.
Phyllis, I have the car and Navy Lodge reservation from July2-4. I did not purchase the airline ticket. Do you think they will get a call this week? As least to notify family about grad. If I do not hear from him this weekend I will have to cancel everything on monday or tuesday. Serg is upset with his division, he mentiones about 7 kids all the time getting in trouble. That is why he only got 1 call...I guess I jsut wait. Sergio has not called me, remember Trent has called you and he tried last week. I bet it is easier for him. I have the feeling you will not get a letter but a call instead...It is over for them, I think they just have to prepared for PIR now.....
