Hi Teri! Well, I hope you had a wonderful time with your family when Henry was home. Was everyone really surprised? Yes, it is so hard when they leave. Seems my son did too. I think he was alittle down. It took him a bit for him to get back in the swing. I find that odd I guess, since he's the one that really wanted to join. I think it's just a huge adjustment. Still gets me teary-eyed at times. My husband was in the navy in norfolk as well, and he seems to think he's doing much better than he lets on. I hope your well, and I wish you, Henry and the family all good things this new year! Pam
Hi Teri; yes we've already had our "family" Christmas and Bryan has left for San Diego on sat, It was so very hard to say good-bye this time. I cried all the way home from Detroit. I was nice to have both home this year, we did have a wonderful time. I'm happy for Henry and you too, have a wonderful Christmas and happy new year! Pam
congrats! well to be honest, my second son took awhile for him to get past the entrance exam, but after a time he got in and then excelled in boot camp and a schools. So its been a learning process; he never really learned how to study in HS. He's doing so well it amazes me. Very happy for Henry, he will find his place! write again sometime! Pam
Hi Teri; loved the wedding pictures, you must be so very proud! How long ago did Henry get married? How long has he been in the navy? It sounded like he was just assigned a ship? yes, my son will be home on tues, just can hardly wait. both my sons home at one time! He will only be here for 10 days. Got the Christmas tree up and now I need to shop! An early Christmas for us. Bryan is a machinst mate/ fireman, MMFR and is logging hours for his journyman card toward nucular engineering, so hopefully when he gets out he can work at one of the nuke plants. He's already decided that he won't re-up. My second son, Billy will be starting pre-med in the spring! Thanks for writing and hope to hear all about your sailor! Pam
Hi, I haven't talked to you for awhile. How is Henry and whats the latest news?? Daniel is doing well, started his official job a couple days ago, has his own room now which has made him happy. Would love to know how you are doing too
Hi Teri, I love the wedding photos. We are planning some mini meet and greets in the Michigan Mom's potluck discussion. I want to plan one in Jackson. I'll add details when we get them. As of now we're thinking Sunday, December 7th. Please go to the Michigan Mom's group and give us your thoughts.
Hi! I love your pictures! I'm glad Henry finally got orders-I'll bet he was glad to leave SA. How long was he there for? Jason is actually in Norfolk (Portsmouth) right now. :) He will be there for training for 4 weeks or so-then probably to Kuwait. Jason was home at the first of the month and as you know it goes by way too fast!! It was good to see him, and he is happy-so that makes Mama happy. LOL Is Henry's bride with him, or still there at home? I've heard that it can take a while to get housing, but maybe it will be quick for them.

Hi Teri, It is nice to hear from you. I understand that out sons are struggling to find some sense of themselves in their new new life. But, it will happen for Henry, and for Andrew too. So, is Henry's wife with him? That would be wonderful if she is. My niece Tara got married in January to a young man who left shortly after their wedding for the Army. He is stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, but he is currently deployed to Kuwait until sometime in the Spring. She and their son Brayden are own their own for now in Kansas, but she seems to be doing very well. Anyway, take care, and have a good evening! Adele
Hi Teri, I hope you are well. I am doing well. How is Henry doing in VA? Andrew got to Kings Bay GA, and loves it there. I just read one of your other messages. Henry got married! THat is wonderful. Andrew has a girlfriend here in Michigan, they have been together for 2 1/2 years. I know this is hard on both of them. But, they are very young, and I don't think they are ready for marriage yet. This time apart will be the test of their relationship. So, we will see. Hope you are enjoying the beauty of this fall. The weather here in the Saginaw area has been spectacular! Well, take care! Congratulations to Henry and bride! I hope they are very happy. I know things will turn out well for them, Henry has worked too hard for it not to. I know you are glad to have him home, I can't wait to see Jason. He is doing well, he still likes it there and so far is doing ok on his tests. He is about 1/2 way through and is trying to get his passport right now. He thinks he will go to VA for 4 weeks after this then to the fleet, but doesn't know where yet. Please continue to keep me up to date, I'm sure great things are in store for Henry (and you!). Talk to you later.

I read that Henry is in TX. Sergio is in Fort Worth at the NAS, JRB. Is Henry there? Hope everything comes together for him soon...
