Well... Bryan does not have any orders yet, but they will come soon! This is exciting for me!!! I love following all of Bryan's adventures! Finding out what will happen next is part of the package.
Hope all goes well with your sailor! Where will your soon go to A school?
Hi,
I guess I missed you out there at the PIR dinner! But congrats on the new sailor! I bet you must be so proud! Bryan is getting ready to graduate from A school and is excited to move to his duty station. He does not have his orders yet, but I am sure they will come soon enough!!
Thank you EVERYONE for ALL of your support during this emotional time. This is a awsome website and a special THANK YOU to Kimberly rad Bryans mom and Pam. I am soo excited to my son and all the mommies. We should were bii o'l t-shirts that say NFM on them LOL :-) have a great day Kimberly. Big hugs Robbin Joshua's mom
Hi Robbin..i asked Codi if he had some good friends in his Div he said like who give me a last name hahahaha So,if ya wanna share..i can ask him if he gets another call....Hugs
I just read (somewhere, just don't remember where) that your Josh turned 19 in April......My Josh turned 19 on April 26th. I wonder if they met before my Josh got moved. Where are you from? I haven't heard from Josh yet, keeping my fingers crossed for a letter Wed., so I'll know what div/ship he's in now.......and so I can mail all my letters! How are you holding up?
He was in Div 239 Ship 12......I don't know where he is now. He told me he'd write me all about it in his letter this week. I got a letter today, and he told me how horrible his group was and how they just couldn't get it together and work as a team.....so I'm betting that is what got the group pushed back a week.
Hi Robbin..Codi is in Div 240..Ship 12 Thats all i have had..actually all i have had was the call the night he got there..his form letter went to his girlfriend in Florida,lol...I had call forwarding added to my phone but still scared i'll miss the call. I do believe we'll make it thru this, lol I am very happy for him, this is what he really wants to do.
Hey Robbin...it's a shock as a mom, whenever you feel down, look us up and we will gladly hold you up. N4M is a great support system just for these times. Please reach out to us, we will be there for you.
Hi Robbin!
Yes, I did get one letter last week, hoping for another soon...maybe a phone call this week? I did send him a 500 min. prepaid phone card!!!
Check out my most recent post...you will flip...NOT A GOOD NITE , LAST NITE!!!
All,
With the website being so screwy the last few days, I wanted to post this on everyone's page individually and hope that you will see it.
1. I've posted the June birthdays. Please get a card out to these recruits somewhere around their birthday. It would be really hard to be so young and away from your family for your birthday.
2. I've posted our only anniversary. Please remember David and Consuela on their FIRST wedding anniversary.
3. I've posted a list of about 30 FEMALE sailors who are graduating soon (6-6-08) and have received little or no mail since starting bootcamp. I think this is terribly sad. They need our support going into battlestations. If everyone would pick 5-10 names (please don't all start from the top) and send them a 99-cent card of encouragement, I think it would really pick up their spirits. They have to be feeling fairly unloved. You can sign your name or not...your choice. I personally will commit to sending 15 cards starting from the bottom of the list up. Pam, I'm counting on you to send 15 starting from the top down. Everybody else, just jump on in somewhere. We've got to get these girls some mail!
4. If I missed your recruit's birthday or anniversary, please let me know and I'll send out another post.
All this stuff can be found on my blog. You have to be my friend to see it (to protect the identity of specific recruits). I think I've sent friend requests to everyone on the list, but if I missed you, send me a request!
I tried to send this as a group message, but I don't think that function works very well. If you've gotten it twice, please forgive me.
Please ask your son/daughter to look around at mail call and notice who's not getting letters. Our PIR group would like to "adopt" these recruits to let them know someone is thinking about them.
We'll need full names (which might be a problem because they use only last names) and ship/division.
Please either PM me through the website or send me an email at mrsmcgee@aol.com with the names. Do not post them in a public forum.
I will post a private blog and let you all know if there's any recruit in need.

Hello :)
A mothers day departure for BC ? Yep that must have been a hard one to swallow. But he is about 2 weeks in now and starting to get into the swing of things. The one thing I have learned here with my son in the navy is there is NO set date, time for things to happen. So not to worry about when you should get letters, every recruit is different. When things get hard for my son...he doesnt reach out for me. He reaches inside himself. Then I hear about it later. My son barely told me a thing about BC, I heard more about it hear at N4M then he ever said. So do not be sad Joshua is kickin fanny and getting his military bearing down. He is going to be just fine, and is doing fine. Remember sometimes no news is good news.
Anytime! I am literally just up the road. I am in the PBC next to Trumps National. So whenever you want to talk I am up for it! I love Starbucks if you wanted to meet there. What are you close to? What high school did your son attend? Bryan was at PVHS and I work at NHS. You can email me if you want. On here or on Kimberlyrdfrd@aol.com. If you email me I'll give you my phone number.

You have to be my "friend" to view it, so it's private.
If you get a chance, please drop a birthday card in the mail. These recruits will be SO surprised.
