I am thinking of you!!! We have to get together!!! Ryan is finally here, and boy it was such an adventure getting him here! First his flight from 2 weeks ago was canceled, then he was suppose to come home last friday and that was canceled, he was suppose to come this friday but they canceled his flight til saturday morning,however, the saturday morning flight was cancelled til saturday night. finally As we started out to drive to San Diego(which is a 2 hour trip) to pick him up, my truck tire started to swell (getting ready to blow) thank GOD my dad was in the car and he got the truck back home and changed the tire, it took dad 45 minutes to change the tire. By this time we are already an hour behing and ryan's plane was going to land in 30 minutes (keep in mind we have to still drive 2 hours to get to him)! To make a long horrible story short, we finally picked him up and 2 hours after his flight landed and we didnt get home til about 1:45 am ( we were suppose to pick him up at 8:40!) LOL... BIG HUGS TO YOU TODAY, let me know how u are doing!!

Hi: Just got in from the Tempe Art Festival....would you believe I lost the car! Could NOT find the underground parking lot I left it in!!! We walked for over an hour trying to locate the darn thing. Finally, a man on a bike knew exactly where I was parked when I described the driveway in. But at least I walked off the fried noodles I had for lunch!!! Now I'm ready for a nap.

I just noticed you got a message (below) about free ringtones, also. Looks like everyone did....who the heck is this person....????

I really enjoyed Melissa's company. We hit just about every subject possible to talk about except for one. That was the past Super Bowl game!

She is such an accomplished speaker, but I did manage to get a few words in myself. Too much to say and too little time to say it in.

I would like to be a fly on the wall when Mary, Melissa and Molly get together this weekend!

I'm glad you're going to be able to make the picnic on the 4th. I'm really looking forward to seeing you again. Billy is driving home from San Diego the night before so that he can attend the picnic with me. It will be a quick trip, but I'll appreciate the time we do get. He plans to make himself available to the new recruits to answer any questions they have about bootcamp, etc. Some members from the NavyDads web site are also planning to attend. NavyDads Admin is from your neck of the woods (Green Valley) he will also be coming. This will be a fun day for everyone!!!

Thanks Joyce! I'm glad I happened to stumble onto this website. I had no idea. I will be looking to get more involved with it and groups near me as time goes on. My son leaves on April 7th, I didn't know it was going to be so hard letting him go, even though I am very supportive of his decision.

Thank you for the "cake in a jar" directions. I'm going to try that this week- end! Nothing new....it's 8:30 and I just got home....had to leave work early to take Auntie Dear to the doctor....at least she was nice this time. Even took me to dinner afterwards. Dr. said it's a very mild compression fracture, nothing to write home about. Prescribed extra strength Tylenol for pain. Now, I'm the GOOD neice!!!!

Hello again! I just found out one of Cory's friends from high school is in Afganistan. I'm getting stuff ready to send a package out.....would you tell me again how to make that cake in a jar? It's the age....I have no short term memory!
